A Contribuição dos Aerolevantamentos nos Planejamentos e Projetos dos Grandes Sistemas de Irrigação e de Adução de Águas

Abstract
Da mesma forma como já tem ocorrido em outros tipos de projetos que se desenvolvem em grandes espaços geográficos, os levantamentos aerofotogramáticos, quando se destinam a macro esquemas hidráulicos, necessitam ser otimizados de forma a propiciar maiores subsídios a todas as fases do projeto, desde os estudos preliminares de traçado visando a seleção das melhores alternativas, passando pelos anteprojetos, pelo projeto básico, estendendo-se pela etapa de implantação das obras, permanecendo para as etapas seguintes de operação e manutenção ou até mesmo, para obras de modernização que posteriormente venham a ser exigidas.
Nesse tipo de atividade os aerolevantamentos perdem a característica tradicional em que são meramente instrumentos geradores de cartas, e passam a constituir uma das partes de um conjunto multidisciplinar de estudos.
