SISTEMA DE GESTIÓN CATASTRAL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA (SGC-UCV). SUBSISTEMA “RED DE VOZ Y DATOS”

Abstract
The present paper outlines the conceptual design and planning of the "Cadastral Management System for the Universidad Central de Venezuela (CMS-UCV)" and the development of the project for the "Voice and Data Network as a case of study developed under this concept (RVD-UCV) ". The objective is to build a system for management including updating, automation and maintenance of all information concerning whit the University Campus physical areas and services in Caracas City. Geocreference of these entities, description of their attributes and relationships will be organized and shown in an application that allows users to manage information easily. It also permits the development of new applications within the framework of Urban Georeferenced Information Systems [UGIS). Used methodology follows five steps: :.- Preliminary Studies, I.- Analysis and Design, |ll.- Development, !V.- Implementation and V.- Production and maintenance. As a result we present the general plan for CMS-UCV project and sample for the output Voice and Data Network: alphanumeric data (reports) and graphic data (Spacemap).
