Abstract

The text reports educative practices in visual arts carried out between 2010 and 2019, in which the use of characters in the form of cloth dolls was a resource for building and strengthening affective links with artistics content, generating significant experiences for children in Early Childhood and Primary Education.

In this, we tried to emphasize how the preparation of playful learning contexts mediated by puppets allowed the presence of Art in the school environment in a broader way and fostered the creation of exhibition and experiential spaces for the production and exhibition of students’ work, as well as expositions with reproductions of works of art.
