This article characterizes the forms of access to and control of resources deployed by the forestry company in the Alto Paraná region of Misiones, focusing on the mechanisms of land grabbing, which in this case also involve foreign ownership, and the global dynamics linked to the forestry agribusiness model. The main argument that unfolds, based on extensive research, is that the set of material and symbolic practices that reinforce the presence of the transnational company in the local territory and its control patterns are nodal for contemporary land grabbing processes.
