Analysis of the formation of social capital: a case study of the CIEPS/UFU Solidarity Fair

The objective of this experience report is to identify aspects and characteristics considered elements that lead to the formation of social capital at the feirinha solidária of the Center for Incubation of Popular Solidarity Enterprises of the Federal University of Uberlândia (CIEPS/UFU). It is an action research approach, integrating participant observation and bibliographic research. The results indicate that the fair strengthens the relationship networks, norms and trust among the participants. Transparent communication and continuous training are essential for the success of Solidarity Productive Organizations (OPS), highlighting the importance of cooperation and reciprocity for the economic and social sustainability of the project.
