In the article, we question the construction of frames in the collective of youth linked to family farming in Brazil. We take as an empirical reference the National Festivals of Rural Youth, coordinated by the National Confederation of Rural Workers Agriculturists and Family Farmers (CONTAG). And we asked ourselves about the innovations and continuities in the frames of reference that mobilized youth linked to family farming in a context of crisis of the neo-developmentalist pattern implemented by governments led by the Workers' Party (PT) and the rise, in the national executive, of a front neoliberal, right-wing and ultraconservative politics, with the election of Jair Bolsonaro in 2018. In the end, we indicate that the demand for public policies, committed to the right of young people to remain in rural areas, remains a significant and strategic reference for the collective action of young family farmers.
