CARACTERIZAÇÃO E MANEJO SUSTENTÁVEL DO SOLO NA BACIA DO RIO UBERABA (MG)

The objective of this stud is characterization and the proposition of the maintainable handling of the soil. They were important procedures in the composition of the diagnosis of the environmental quality on Uberaba river basin in the township of Uberaba-MG. The base of data was developed by the System of Geographical Information - software Idrisi, field visits and literary revision, gathering information on the inadequate practices of soil use. The results obtained with the analyses of the plans of information, allowed the knowledge of the areas potentially sensitive to the erosion and with erosive processes in progress, being suggested the recovery and preservation of the native vegetable covering.
