Abstract

The Brazilian semiarid region has a broad diversity of geological-geomorphological forms distributed in diverse contexts, lithologic and landscape. Therefore, the realization of research that may understand these processes and distributions of the landform aspects is considered relevant. This article identifies the particular distribution of weathering, whose genesis is associated with chemical weathering. The local cutting is focused on Serra da Baixa Verde PB-PE, specifically in the slopes and levels with altitudes over 700m, under a geological context of syenite, granodiorites, and granite geological context. The first stage of the searches’ development was the identification through photos, satellites and fieldwork. Following was the morphological mapping and morphological characterization with the aid of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), as well as the morphological classification based on Gutiérrez (2005) and Silva, Correa, and Amorim (2017). The results indicated that the wethering reports different forms and depths, ranging from concave, circular, and ocular.
