Abstract

This study aims to understand the cellulose productive space circuit in Mato Grosso do Sul. Through the methodological procedures adopted – bibliographic review, collection and analysis of data from secondary sources, documentary research and fieldwork –, it was found, from the analysis of the cellulose production space circuit, that the four moments of capitalist production are complementary and interdependent, despite being distinct. In addition, it was also found that the researched circuit articulates Mato Grosso do Sul, especially its Eastern region, to the world, making its geographical multiscale feature notable. It is important to highlight that this conjuncture is made possible by several agents that integrate the cooperation circles and that are essential for the development of the cellulose productive space circuit as a result of actions in the financial, normative, scientific and technological spheres.
