Abstract

The article herein presented discuss the meaning of multiscalar processes of the contemporary migration increasingly shaped between expulsion and confinement, in light of the mobility of labor and its bond to the territorialization of capital. For such, it debates with a few theoretical perspectives as the transnational migration, the logic of expulsions, the new regime of accumulation by dispossession and the land grabbing, pointing out the limits of such interpretations to deal with those described migratory processes. Lastly, exposes a critical reading of those population phenomena as part of a fundamental crisis of labor and capital which determines a crisis of the political regulation that expulses and confines, simultaneously, a increasingly superfluous population in face of capital and its fictionalization.
