The main objective of this works was the spatial modelling for the areas of risk of malaria in the municipalities of Campo Largo do Piauí and Porto – no estado do Piauí, sites with outbreak records in the last fifteen years. The environmental analysis to generate the malaria risk map took into account inventories involving the physicals and biotics parameters, besides with the anthropic interference, as the land use and land cover, involving morphometric relief analyzes and the land use and covering for remote sensing. The subjects were overlaid and analyzed by an addictive multicriteria method to arrive the risk map of occurrence of the disease, and subsequently the registered cases were overlaid with the purpose of validating the proposed methodology. Malaria risk mapping generated four classes: low, moderate, high and very high, with high and very high risk of occurrence of the disease were more prominent with 7.1% and 92.9% concentration, in the two municipalities during the period studied. This work suggests that the model of the additive multi criterion method to determine the occurrence of malaria cases is highly efficient, indicating that the natural and anthropic characteristics chosen to compose the analyzes presented satisfactory results.
