Abstract

The populational aging, observed in the World and also in Brazil, must be comprehended by the urban planning. This study, from some observations made in Uberlândia, concerns about the populational aging question, concentraded in the subject of elderly people's needs and alternatives of moving. We pretend to approach the ambient acessibility as the essencial agent for the elderly people's autonomy and social inclusion. The Urbanism, as both science of drawing and art of cities construction, must be considerated as public politician. In this way, It will be possible take into consideration, independent of their social class, the whole elderly people.
