Abstract

The research monitored edaphic groups in soil of Atlantic Forest fragments located in the city of São Paulo. The diversity and density (Ind.m-²) of the specimens collected and their correlations with alternation of environments (wet and dry), depth (cm) and chemical attributes such asorganic carbon, K, P, Ca and Al were verified. Sampling plots of 1.68 ha were randomly delimited where were collected: soil samples, invertebrates associated with detritosphere and drilosphere and nine soil monoliths per environment using the TSBF method. Oligochaeta species and Arachnida, Chilopoda, Coleoptera and Diplopoda morpho-species were identified. The density of individuals and the diversity index of Shanon (H) were affected, mainly by the collect environment and soil depth (cm). PCA analysis shows a positive correlation between some species and morpho-species with chemical parameters, soil depth (cm) and change of environment. The increase of the content of organic carbon and high availability of macronutrients favored the increase of specimens. The results indicate the high frequency of the species P. corenthurus (Oligochaeta Glossoscolecidae) and the low frequency of the species Fimoscolex sp, that the areas have in their historical environmental disturbances.
