FRAGMENTOS URBANOS: PROCEDIMENTO ANALÍTICO PARA A IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE PADRÕES MORFOLÓGICOS A PARTIR DE TEXTURAS DE IMAGENS DE SATÉLITE

Abstract
O estudo verifi ca as diferenças entre padrões morfológicos urbanos através da análise da lacunaridade de subfragmentos de imagens do satélite QuickBird da cidade do Recife, considerando a complexa textura gerada pela combinação entre seus elementos visuais (superfícies de água, cobertura vegetal, edifi cações, pavimentação, etc.). Apresenta o conceito de lacunaridade e introduz a análise de subfragmentos cujo propósito é identifi car com mais clareza diferenciações na morfologia urbana. Inicialmente, quatro imagens de 712 x 712 pixels foram selecionadas de fragmentos urbanos da cidade e foi calculada o valor de Lacunaridade Média (Lm) de cada imagem em 13 tamanhos de caixa. Em seguida, cada fragmento foi dividido em nove subfragmentos e o valor de Lm de cada um deles foi calculado. Os resultados gerados pela média aritmética dos valores de Lm dos subfragmentos de cada imagem (com a remoção de três deles com valores extremos) permitiram distinguir mais eficientemente seus padrões morfológicos.
