Abstract

This report presents the progress made during the development of an intervention project at a public primary education school in Uberlândia, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Through collaborative activities and partnerships with the Cooperative Network for Teaching, Research, and Outreach in Basic Education Schools (RECEPE) at the University of Uberaba (Uniube), the project aims to contribute to the ongoing training of educators. This approach recognizes that the daily routine of the school is an integral part of the creation and exchange of knowledge and experiences. Based on this scenario and the incentive to reflect on one's own practices, the project is centered on themes related to Human Rights Education, emphasizing the connections and interactions that have been established thus far. This is evident in the documentation, reflections, and preliminary analysis of experiences shared with some of the school’s management and teaching staff. The project is based on the epistemes of popular education and popular extension to support the training process. Through dialogue circles, this outreach project encourages its participants to reflect critically on their own trajectories and practices, and to analyze them together. This process allows them to question, confront, evaluate, and re-signify their own practices.
