The experiences of the outreach project “School of Popular Education in the Carajás Corridor: Citizenship, Human Rights, and Rights of Nature” make it possible to reflect on formative processes involving young people exposed to territorial and environmental conflicts in places affected by developmental enterprises in the Carajás Corridor, in the Amazon region of Maranhão/MA, Brazil, while also contributing to thinking about popular education in these contexts. Thus, the aim of the article was to reflect on popular education, as well as on paths and forms of listening, strengths and challenges, based on encounters, territorial experiences, and the efforts of young people to feel, understand, and act in the face of conflicts. This article is grounded in the direct monitoring of the preparation and implementation of formative processes, the examination of pedagogical material, the reports produced at each meeting, and general reports made by the team. The Popular Education School is conceived as a space for strengthening the plurality of voices that emerge from conflicts, preserving the memories of struggle, sharing experiences, and socializing research and investigations on related themes, as well as building shared knowledge that supports other ways of thinking and living.
