This work seeks to present a proposal for the use of the stop-motion animation technique, as a tool for making active methodologies feasible in the classroom, regardless of the discipline and type of content. In the first moment, an explanation is made about the concept of active methodologies, followed by an explanation about the technique of stop-motion animation, with the presentation of three practical examples. The text ends with an explanation of the proposed use of the technique as a pedagogical tool, using simple everyday objects and a smartphone as the basis for producing animated videos.
