Abstract

The article discusses the results of a completed master's research and was based on a (auto)biographical approach, from the analysis of online narrative interviews. In the production of these, nine music teachers from early childhood education and/or early years of elementary school shared their memories of childhood sound games and their respective influence on their training as teachers. The results indicate that the memories of childhood sound games become references for the formation of the music teacher. Thus, it is understood that the contact with their inner child promotes in the teacher the resumption of the charm of play, in order to insert it in a more pleasant way in the educational environment, building a playful space of trust and learning. Reflecting pertinent issues to music education, the article intends to broaden the discussions on music teacher training and the studies of life stories.
