This article aims to analyze the appropriateness of the characteristics of the genre review. The analyzed resins were produced by public school students and were collected in a teaching learning situation. The research had a theoretical research based on Bakhtin (2003); Marcuschi (2008); Andrade (2006); Machado (2004) Motta-Roth (2001) and among others.
