Educação básica na Nigéria: entre metas globais, desafios locais, desigualdades educacionais e (in)justiça curricular

Resumo
A Nigéria, como membro da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU), adotou a Agenda 2030 e os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) em 2015, visando alinhar as políticas nacionais aos objetivos globais. No entanto, o progresso permanece lento, especialmente em relação ao ODS 4. Este estudo analisa como a equidade é compreendida e implementada no acesso à educação básica na Nigéria, bem como o grau de alinhamento das políticas e práticas nacionais com o ODS 4. Por meio de revisão teórica e análise documental de marcos legais, planos nacionais de educação e relatórios oficiais produzidos pelo governo nigeriano e por organismos internacionais, o estudo destaca barreiras persistentes à justiça curricular. Os resultados indicam que, apesar das disposições que garantem educação básica gratuita e universal, o fraco comprometimento político, aliado a disparidades sistêmicas, infraestrutura precária e desafios socioeconômicos, limita o acesso e o progresso rumo ao cumprimento do ODS 4.
