Abstract

The cooperativism is one way of social organization used by human being in order to develop actions and projects which could be hard accomplished by one or few people separately. Nowadays, with the crisis of the transition of the productive paradigm experienced by capitalist society, of the mass accumulation to the flexible accumulation, the cooperativism has been changing and trying to adapt to this new reality and guarantee the survival of its partner formers. In Triangulo Mineiro/Alto Paranaíba, the cooperatives have been through significant transformation. The MercoUberlândia represents a new phase of cooperativism in the region, characterized by economic liberalization and the evolution of technical scientific informational means, because it emerges from a modern ideology of organization as proposal of modernizing the traditional ways of horticulture comercialization in Brazil, providing an interesting study about the the globalization and the technical scientific informacional revolution in social organization ways, in consumption habits (with the emergence of new modern retail forms such as the hyper and supermarkets), and also in (re) organization of productive space because of this new reality.
