Abstract

The article presents an experience of internship practice, aiming to provide quality of life and dignity to the seniors in a long - term institution, based on interactive workshops. The work was developed from the method of psychosocial intervention of workshops in group dynamics. During the observations, many seniors showed apathetic and fragile, but as a result of the interventions, when being stimulated, denoted potentialities and desire to get out of the sedentary lifestyle and the label of the incapacitates attributed to them. It is possible to consider that the elderly of this institution, despite being well accompanied by a
multiprofessional team, still need a more individualized attention, considering their subjectivity and particularity in the challenges that they encounter in the day to day.
