What is thinking about the contemporary creation process? The article is an excerpt from the doctoral thesis developed at PPGARTES/UFMG between 2017 and 2021. Based on the assumption that creation is contiguous to the time in which the artist lives, we regain the liberation of the domains of creation while the absence of the need of a specific physical space to work, the multiplicity of materials, languages, themes and ways of doing things. In this investigation, together with Jean Baudrillard, we seek to bring creation closer to a circumvolution, to finally understand through the power of the process the need to move away from the modalities of artist typologies to focus on the expansiveness of multiple artists as atypical.
