This issue focuses on collective practices that seek to move across disciplinary boundaries between the arts. It groups contributions that propose collective and integrated experiences in the production of transdisciplinary, adisciplinary or multicultural knowledge, that recognize the 'in between' as force of movement, displacement, encounter, detour, as the blurring of boundaries in artistic and educational thought. The articles reveal how these experiences have explored the 'in between' - bodies, knowledge, territories, arts - in contemporary research processes.
