This article expresses thoughts and considerations about a teaching internship experience in Visual Arts in the context of social distance due to COVID-19. Addressing reflections brought by the current situation and proposing possible paths, some questions are raised in relation to unexpected changes and the contexts of action. Deepening the experience (LARROSA, 2015) and understanding of teaching practice in the sense of mediations (MARTINS, et al, 2010; UTUARI, 2018), the theoretical articulation allowed to express points that involve Visual Arts classes and demonstrate importance along the way teaching and learning. Committing to explore the main exercise of the Supervised Curricular Internship discipline, the article shares the process of elaborating the teaching plan, the actions and perceptions of the classroom in virtual space, making observations after the actions. The reflection on the practice finds a fundamental moment in the teaching perspective for the teacher in training, as it investigates and demonstrates the meanings of the meetings, choices and movements that permeate the internship.
