This paper focuses on specific music questions of Enade 2011. The aim is to answer the following questions: how the specific music questions of the Enade are organized in the test? Which are the relationships between the test and the National Curricular Guidelines (DCNs) for Music undergraduate programs? A research protocol based on document analysis research was carried out, and data was organized taking into account two dimensions: form and content. Findings suggest: a) the majority of the questions can be answered by music education students; b) the prevalence of questions of the “basic content” and “specific content” axes, these with identical proportion; c) the prevalence of questions that are built on analytical-type of knowledge, which are linked with a theoretical musical knowledge; d) the existence of biases in part of the questions, which focus on specific musical, social or technological contexts. Results show that Enade 2011 is a test based on written registered test, with or without the use of music sheet. The previous does not agree with the guidelines that guide music undergraduate programs construction, because they should be built on abilities and competencies. Also, they disagree with music own nature, which is sonorous and ethereal.
