The study intends to glimpse the spectacle Ledores do Breu of Cia do Tijolo - SP seeking to observe the interfaces between this theater and some theoretical concepts of the educator Paulo Freire. In the first we will focus on the piece that had its debut in the year 2015; in the second, we will select some understandings of Paulo Freire's thinking about education: his concept of dialogicity, considering horizontal dialogue as an educational approach; the idea of provoking critical thinking in the student, understanding that educating is also a political act; the practice of education as an act of freedom that contradicts the thought of a banking education; and the ideal of literacy, considering that "the reading of the world precedes the reading of the word". Finally, we observe the Freirean concepts in relation to the staging, in which the assimilation of these ideas in the spectacular body is clear. We conclude that Cia do Tijolo uses freirean thinking, aiming at a better approximation with the listeners, trying to cause in them the reflection through this theatrical manifest.
