This article analyzes, from the historiography of gender studies and women's studies, the protagonism of women in the field of teaching History. In this way, we understand the importance of teaching History that includes the experiences of women and the LGBTQIA+ population for the construction of research in History, in which the subjects/subjects are represented without gender stereotypes, commonly disseminated in the media and in the old History teaching materials. Thus, we point out the importance of new representations of women's history for a dialogic, inclusive historiography that points out the contradictions and processes of (re)existence of women in the History of Brazil.
