Resumo

O trabalho sexual e o trabalho doméstico precarizado feito por mulheres pobres e/ou migrantes apontam para uma crise profunda nos âmbitos da reprodução social da vida em todos os aspectos. Muitas formulações de políticas que buscam proteger as mulheres de diversos modos de violência encontram apoio ou restrição por parte das igrejas cristãs expressando suas concepções religiosas e influência política nos espaços decisórios. Este texto quer analisar estes posicionamentos considerando as interferências das teses "defensivas" e "abolicionistas" apontando para possibilidades de intervenção da teologia feminista latino-americana.

Abstract

The precarious sexual work and domestic work done by women and/or migrants point to a deep crisis in terms of the social reproduction of life in all aspects. Many formulations of policies that seek to protect women from several forms of violence find support or restriction by Christian churches expressing their religious concepts and political influence in decision making spaces. This text intends to analyze these positions considering the interferences of the "defensive" and "abolitionist" thesis pointing to possibilities for the intervention of Latin-American Feminist Theology.
