heterotopic bodies of videoclips

Abstract

This research aimed at understanding videoclips as hypertexts, where it proposed to develop a critical discursive analysis on productions of discursive materialities in the idea of ​​a universal body. The research was bibliographical, qualitative, and started from the heuristic questioning: would the body performances presented in the videoclips be possibilities for the materialization of heterotopic bodies? The methodology was based on authors such as Orlandi (2009), Deleuze (2005), Dias (2011), Souza (2006), and we also appropriated the methodological procedures of Michel Foucault's archeology and genealogy. Throughout the process, we made clippings of three videoclips where we analyze the body as resistance to the device of sexuality. The videoclip brought as an analysis tool was “Girl from Rio”, by the carioca singer Anitta, whose hypertext served as a conceptualization to exemplify the discursive imaginary that was built in the idea of ​​Brazilian women and in the molds about femininity taken as correct and, therefore, utopian. The music vídeo became the basis for Foucauldian reflections on the marginalization of other-bodies too, in addition to presenting the Heterotopias in their closest form to philosophical concepts. At the end of the research, we resumed the question that was presented at the beginning of the discussions, and therefore, we were able to conclude that yes, videoclips work as an artifice of struggle for space, of materialization and visibility of heterotopic bodies, real bodies and, often, silenced and mutilated by the device of the exercise of power.
