About the sense in Leontiev works: notes from his biography

Abstract

The purpose of this text is to present Leontiev´s main biographic aspects, with his works as reference, and to identify some gaps in it, showed by his critics and also by his continuators, specifficaly the sense studies. It was used Leontiev´s works and some texts from his continuers and studious. The sense, as a conscious content, reveals the afetive-emotional dimention of the activity motive to the individual, making possible also the (re) creation of the psyche external reality, forming the psyche reflexe. The conscience is built in individual´activity is, to Leontiev, the analises´category that has ontologic priority, following the marxist tradition that poits the work centrality on human formation. Despite being a conscience content, the personal sense can be ocult, however, Leontiev did not do pointments about which implications it could promote on psyquism. Some of his continuers proposed that ocult motives can enable new psyque formations, constituing personality formations, based on personal sense. We understand that this pointments allows a better comprehention about learning and development (also of another processes) in the same time that it can sinalyze new directions to the sense studies from the author works. This advance in Leontiev´s theorical aspects occur when his work is understand as unfinished and put in a psychological theory that was built by various authors, that, despite the differences, had as project the construction of a psychology that understood man in his totality.
