Cultura, Cognição e TDA/H: entre a Disfunção e a Adaptação Funcional

Resumo
Este artigo discute a hipótese de que parte dos diagnósticos contemporâneos de Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção com Hiperatividade (TDA/H) pode incluir indivíduos cujo funcionamento neuropsicológico reflete adaptações às transformações cognitivas impulsionadas pelas tecnologias digitais. A partir de uma revisão teórica fundamentada na psicologia histórico-cultural e na teoria da atividade, examinam-se os impactos da cultura digital sobre a atenção, a memória e as funções executivas. Argumenta-se que muitos dos comportamentos hoje classificados como disfuncionais podem, na verdade, representar formas emergentes de cognição adaptativa, especialmente em ambientes interativos, velozes e multimodais. O artigo defende a necessidade de rever critérios diagnósticos e práticas avaliativas, valorizando a diversidade neurocognitiva no contexto das mudanças sociotecnológicas atuais.
