Abstract

The pandemic context was a period of unprecedented changes, in all social segments and education would be no different. When teaching during the pandemic period and perceiving the difficulties pointed out by students, parents and teachers, the need and importance of analyzing such a reality experienced at that moment and learning from it, growing from the experiences it imposed, was perceived. In this sense, the following experience report is part of a Completion Work of a Degree in Geography where the main objective was to identify, from the self-assessment of students from the 6th to the 9th year of elementary school, the main difficulties encountered by them for their learning during remote teaching. Such research took place through questionnaires with closed questions and the recording of students' impressions about some of them. It was found that the most recurrent issues for students were that they were dedicated to the study routes only sometimes, that they were more guided by the school than at home, with an average of 86% of returning activities via the educational portal, averages of daily internet use and individual equipment for studies above 80% and difficulties in using the portal above 90%. There was a low rate of access to synchronous classes and little contact with teachers to clarify doubts, with an average of learning new content of 50.6% in the students view.
