Abstract

The world hás been going through great changes; consequently, teaching too, especially with  regard to the way of teaching and the methodologies used. Such methodologies have been imposing themselves as an essential mechanism, creating changes in teaching practice, encouraging teachers to assume their influence as a guiding/opinion-transforming agent. In this context, the main concern of this work is to presente the use of magic as a methodological teaching-learning experience in Geography, in a high school class, during the mandatory internship in Geography. This would help in the development of skills necessary for the formation of the student, contributing to their understanding of the reality of the world in wich they live and helping to identify the learning of geographic themes. Futhermore, the use of previously selecteds pellswithin a didactic-educational approach can contribute to the development of creative and dynamic classes. Thus, by using magic as a didactic tool for geography classes, it was possible, throughout the work, to see many benefits, being able to affirm, then, that magic and education can be integrated into playful expression, benefiting learning and, above all, human relationships and coexistence.
