PLACES OF FEAR AND JOY IN THE 6TH YEAR STUDENT'S DRAWINGS IN GEOGRAPHY LESSONS

The objective of this study was to investigate, by means of drawings, the places considered topofóbicos and topofílicos in the daily and inside of the school of the students of a class of 6º of Elementary School II of a state school in the city of Londrina / PR in the year 2017, as well as starting the work with the concept of place in the geography classes next to the class of 6th grade. The research of qualitative approach required the use of secondary procedures (survey in works based on the perspective of place according to TUAN, 1979) and primary ones (development of classes workshops involving the concept of place and drawings next to the group of 6º year). The concept of place in the perspective of the humanist geography allows the approximation of the geographic content with the experience of the student. The work with drawings of places of fear and joy contribute to the learning of the concept of place by the students while taking into account the daily experience and experience in the school environment.
