Research Ethics

Papers involving the approach and recruitment of human beings must be analyzed and approved by an Ethics Committee (institutional, regional or national), complying, depending on the specific nature of the presented paper, with resolutions no. 466/12 (approves the guidelines and norms regulating research involving human beings and revokes Resolutions CNS nos. 196/96, 303/2000 and 404/2008) e no. 510/16 (covers the rules applicable to research in Humanities and Social Sciences in which the methodological proceedings involve using data collected directly from participants or identifiable information or that may cause greater risks than those existing in everyday life).

In this case, authors must include, in the most appropriate section (Methodology, Methods and Material or Ethical Considerations), the approval certificate issued by the Ethics Committee that the research has been approved, as well as its CAAE (Certificate of Submission to Ethics Appreciation) number.
