El propósito de esta revisión narrativa es ofrecer un panorama internacional de la situación de las personas con algún tipo de trastorno alimentario y que han contraído COVID-19 y qué adaptaciones se pueden hacer para afrontar este trastorno en esta circunstancia. Se encontraron veinte artículos sobre el tema, siendo una propuesta de protocolo, una guía descriptiva de sugerencias sobre lo que se puede hacer en casa, de forma remota, durante este período; los otros artículos discutieron los impactos negativos del COVID-19 en los síntomas de los trastornos alimentarios. Se concluye que es necesario tener una atención específica para estos pacientes, y se deben hacer adaptaciones para que puedan enfrentar la pandemia con una mejor calidad de vida.
