Abstract

This summary presents some memories, narratives, and experiences that have been composing my history in/with the (auto)biographical research, in the dialogue with some theories of everyday life and the field of Music Education in Brazil in the last twenty years, amalgamated with the readings, discussions, and participation in CIPAs. I highlight some challenges and possibilities that this research approach has been presenting and providing me over the course of these almost two decades. In this text, I tried to weave a path constituted by the titles CIPAS in which I participated, intertwined with the titles of the communications that I presented of dialoguing with the groups of students and professors with whom I was working at that time, either as a teacher training in a degree course in Music, as a teacher training in continuing education courses in music or also as a guest teacher in subjects of Research in Music. The experiences in these different training spaces added to the opportunities to participate in the master and doctorate boards of research with the (auto)biographical approach, provided an opportunity for knowledge of multiple themes with narratives and memories, as well as being able to follow the expansion of (auto)biographical research in the field of music education.
