By assuming the alterity of childhood in its multilingual productions and expressions, particularly the bodily, playful and imaginary ones, this study looked for a possibility to dance and play the storytelling in Early Childhood Education in order to put on girls and boys with little age. Here, we report an experience carried out in a Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education (CMEI) in the city of Goiânia (GO) with the participation of two groups of children aged 4 and 5, over 16 meetings, recorded in a diary field, photos and filming. Thus, between experiments of weight, space, displacements, supports, bodily and dynamic actions, it was proposed to dance the story told, tell the story by dancing and narrating for the children to dance at the same time; listen to audio, watch video, create your own stories, draw the story so that your traces could be danced, recite poems, take chances, get frustrated and have fun. Along the way it was noticed that the kids pulsed with history and penetrated the images, creating and recreating with the whole body that they are, in the encounter between the arts, in sensitive and poetic processes of playfulness.
