Abstract

This paper brings forward the registered images from “Na selva das cidades”’ play (1923), in order to verify the scenic structures used by architect Lina Bo Bardi, who was responsible for the scenography. We present and analyz some pictures from the staging of Na selva das cidades exhibited by the group Teatro Oficina in 1969 under José Celso Martinez’s direction. Therefore, this article highlights how the scenographic work contributes for an overview of the political ideias on the play.
