Abstract

Would it be possible to prepare and develop drama processes in the routine of Brazilian teaching in view of the characteristics and peculiarities of national education? To discuss this issue, three work paths are described and analyzed in this article, in stages ranging from early childhood education to higher education, and bring drama as a resource capable of connect theater and education. The first path presented aim on the union between drama and Role-playing game to work with teenagers and guide internship in higher education. The second path is about using compound stimulus in workshops for teachers in early childhood and elementary education. The third path presents drama as a possibility for construction of an artistic product, using especially the teacher in role and the scenic setting. The examples brought intended to answer positively the question raised, highlighting the need for appropriation and adaptation of this English method aiming at its functionality and addressed for artistic experiences.

Flávia Janiaski é doutora em Artes Cênicas pela UFBA, com bolsa de doutorado sanduiche pela CAPES na University of Massachusetts/Boston no programa de Early Childhood Education e professora adjunta da Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados (UFGD) no Curso de Licenciatura e Bacharelado em Artes Cênicas. Tem experiência na área de artes cênicas, com ênfase em Teatro-Educação, Produção Cultural, Contação de História, Orientação de Estágio, Improvisação e Montagem Teatral.
