In this article, I share my approaches as a queer teacher-artist in the mediation of drama processes through the strategy entitled “teacher in role” (CABRAL, 2006; VIDOR, 2010). The shared experiencies were carried out with high school students at the Centro Educacional Dr. Clarindo Santiago, in São Luís – MA. Therefore, the theoretical discussions bring reflections on the teacher and the artist profession at school (VIDOR, 2010; LARROSA, 2018), especially regarding the drama strategy “teacher in role”, as a possibility to emerge narratives with LGBT+ themes in the classroom. The material also discusses the concepts of “trans representativeness” and “place of speech” (LEAL, 2018; RIBEIRO, 2017) linked to the context of creative processes in theater pedagogy. The final reflections sugest possible ways to build (new) networks of affection in the theater education and in the queer studies, in which both currently face a troubled time.
