In this text, I write about approximations between my work and those of my sisters. It is a response to an invitation for the three of us to open the 1st Research Seminar of the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), entitled "Embracing the scene: bodies, poetics, politics". I describe a little our childhood, especially our parents' concern with humanistic teaching. The three of us attended classes in different artistic languages and were educated in an elementary school that followed Célestin Freinet's pedagogy. I present the stages of my career as a dancer and choreographer and reflect on the concepts of corporeality and choreography, indicating articles and books in which I approach the themes in greater depth. Convergent aspects between my sisters' works and mine are discussed, as well as my difficulty in consciously finding deeper connections between them. As far as my opacity to myself allows, I seek to write clearly and honestly about affections and memories built by growing up with my two sisters.
