Establishing dialogues through Afronte (2017), a docu-fiction directed by Marcus Mesquita and Bruno Victor about black homossexuals in Distrito Federal (Brazil), this article approches poetics of resistance to normative heterosexuality and white people subject as humanity standard. This work starts from the relation between aesthetic and identitary processes, to discuss the actor's process of being/becoming black homosexual and also the various ways these identities engender the creative-inventive process of composition of the character VH in the film. We present escrevivências (experience writings) of being a black actor in performativity conjugating Afronte as a verb (which means to confront or to face) to bring into question the issues of representation of black homosexuals - non-hegemonic black masculinities - and to tread paths in art that destabilize a single, reductionist and normative history, propelling the emergence of pluralities.
