This study focuses on criticism and aesthetic experience in the work of Gerd Bornheim. It is a matter of perceiving the designs and impasses of contemporary artistic criticism from the problematization of communication and the crisis of artistic representation. To do so, we will provide the reader with the transcription of a Bornheim typuscript, in which the author emphasizes the impalpable aspect of cultural expressions interpreted only under the yoke of communication. In his argument, the author emphasizes the communicative crisis, concluding that the communication should not be taken as a definitive criterion for the appreciation of the artistic making. In this way, Gerd Bornheim explores the relationships and contrasts between artist-work, artist and public, work and public in the face of media transformation and criticism. This allows us to relocate these problems by means of an aesthetic-political interrogation and its extension to the actuality of the theatrical scene.Downloads
