Michele Minnick began her experience in rasaboxes with the director Richard Schechner, USA. Rasaboxes is a visceral training form for the actor which was developed by Schechner and the Performance Group in the 1960´s. The contact with rasaboxes revealed that the most important thing is not to feel emotions, but to be able to share them with the spectator. Thus the concept of rasaboxes defines the environment and the relationship between performer and spectator in such a way that the latter can savor the rasas together with the performer. Michele speaks of her experience with the performance workshops and the rasaboxes in a project of immersive theater: a space of one-on-one relationship and of intense and direct interaction with the audience. Through rasaboxes a new line of work is opened, which proposes clear boundaries and, within these boundaries, limitless possibilities.Downloads
