Maternidade de mulheres policiais
uma análise à luz da psicologia cultural semiótica

Este artigo apresenta uma análise teórico-interpretativa da literatura sobre maternidade e trabalho policial, com base em 18 estudos empíricos publicados entre 2010 e 2025. Ancorado na Psicologia Cultural Semiótica, examina como a maternidade é significada em contextos policiais marcados por risco e forte normatividade institucional. Os resultados indicam que a maternidade constitui uma transição desenvolvimental mediada por signos de gênero e pelo modelo institucional de trabalhador ideal, associado à masculinidade e à disponibilidade irrestrita. Tais sistemas produzem tensões profissionais, impactos à saúde e reorganizações parentais, além de revelar a escassez de pesquisas brasileiras sobre o tema.
