Decolonial studies, transgenerationality and violence against women

The article analyzes the transgenerationality of violence against women under the lens of decolonial studies. To this end, the origins of women's subalternization and their links with the process of colonization of Latin America are addressed. The conclusion of the study is in the sense that the modern colonial gender system was decisive in maintaining the legacy of gender violence.
