Abstract

The present article aims to study the evolution and composition of the female family nucleus of D. Mariana Vitória de Bourbon between 1750 and 1781. In this sense, it gives preference to the analysis of the sociological profile and the compensation means of the camareiras-mores, maids of honor, ladies and other women who served the sovereign.

Licenciada em História pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Frequenta o Mestrado em História Moderna e Contemporânea na mesma instituição, preparando a dissertação sobre a Casa da Rainha ao tempo de D. Mariana Vitória de Bourbon (1754-1781).
