Abstract

This article deals with the narratives about the experiences of a black woman, a feminist and lesbian activist, who works in a collective of lesbian women in a capital of northeastern Brazil. I write inspired by readings by black feminists, such as bell hooks (2019), Grada Kilomba (2019), Sueli Carneiro (2016), Angela Figueiredo (2020) and Ana Maria Veiga (2020). Three themes guide writing based on the narratives of this woman who recognizes herself as a lesbian in her youth and a feminist activist in adulthood: lesbian conjugality, lesbian parenting and feminist militancy.
